Can someone with light sensitivity and motion sickness safely play PoE2?

Hi everyone, I’m considering buying Path of Exile 2, but I’d really appreciate some honest feedback before I do. I suffer from chronic migraine, and my main triggers are flashing lights, heavy visual effects, and sudden movements like screen shake. I also deal with motion sickness, so fast camera shifts or strong visual clutter can be problematic for me. I know this might sound like a silly question since PoE is known for being visually intense, but I wanted to ask anyway. For example, in Diablo 4 I’m able to play comfortably by lowering VFX, disabling screen shake, reducing brightness/contrast, and avoiding lightning-heavy builds. So my question is: Are there enough visual settings in PoE2 to significantly reduce flashing effects and screen shake? Has anyone here with migraine or motion sensitivity been able to play comfortably with the right settings/build choices? I completely understand the game is designed to be visually impactful, and I don’t want to complain about that — I’d just like to know if it’s realistically manageable before purchasing. Thanks to anyone willing to share their experience. I’d genuinely love to be able to play this game.

Yes But I'll say There's only a few builds you can do that doesn't cover the whole screen to not see anything haha. For example chaos dot ( most commonly play by witch/lich) is easy on the eyes.

Try playing PoE1. It's free, and if you can't handle the light and/or motion of that game, PoE2 will be the same.

Don’t touch CoC Comet. My eyes start aching with just the sheer amount of shit there is on the screen + your fps is constantly oscillating low and high. Hit the point where I had to play a new build

Yes, my play group has these issues and it is one of the reasons we play this game. (Motion sickness for one person and epilepsy for the other).

Just be carefull when you get invited to a temple since they probably run a CoC comet build. Even for me who isnt sensitive to lights and stuff ,its just too much and i squint my eyes lol

Just watch out for the massive flash bang after the penultimate Act 4 boss! No screen shake I can recall, I think I always have it switched off. The game is very pleasing on the eyes generally, really nice contrast that should keep everything readable even if you turn the brightness down. Only you can judge if special effects are overwhelming, maybe watch a chill let's play and see how you feel.
