Anything I can do to improve damage or survivability on my blood mage?

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

You do less than half the comet damage of my BM and I have 1/2 the investment in gear that you have. A rathpith globe and a decent wand would up your DPS substantially.

I have a build. mana stack and blood magic builds. Which one do you prefer?

Where are you getting the remaining 2% mana cost converted to life, so that you don't spend any mana when casting abilities? Your chest has 50%, blood infusion wheel gives 48% = 98%

You could start by actually grabbing the Campaign rewards this would already help your character massively as they are literally free upgrades and your missing like half of them
