Poe1 Atlas mini rework/additions = BIG HOPES FOR 0.5

new additions to atlas in poe1 are amazing, if ggg testing things for 0.5 endgame rework we are gonna enter golden era of poe2

I was thinking the same thing. This 3.28 might be GGG testing the waters for Poe 2. Many people complained about infinite Atlas, and now in practice, everyone can see that the atlas with visible goals in the endgame can really motivate players and give them something to chase in a natural progressive manner.

I dont know if they will hit the end game spot in 0.5, maybe in 0.6 or even in 1.0 because if a end game good they will need to leave the ea acess

As for someone who doesn't care about PoE1 and doesn't know what these changes are to the game, can someone elaborate how those changes could look like in PoE2?

Unpopular opinion. I prefer poe 2's infinite atlas over poe 1's.

I understand its issues, but I just prefer it for some dumb reason.

The new Atlas for Poe1 should be the way Poe2 handles it's maps, too many times the gateway to fighting Arbiter is just behind RNG generation.

POE1 is now Marks baby, while POE2 is run by Jonathan. They seem to have pretty different point of views and games from now on will probably move into 2 different directions.

Which might be fine, or not. And which many will love and many will hate, no matter what. We will see.

Hope so, but golden era before launch is peak gamer anxiety lol

Yup, change was really good, but I'm not sure if they will port it to poe2. I believe they explicitly wanted you to travel through different maps in this endless atlas, instead of doing your favorite map like you can do in poe1. I can't cite that though.
