Monk invoker classic flicker strike / storm wave not original build help

So it's my second league in poe2 and decided that i wanted to go for that build : https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/builds/coc-balls-invoker-ronarray to learn some more and try to make my own build next league,
BUUUUUUUUT
I just don't know why my single target dmg seems horrible and my tankiness even worse , my storm wave clearing is really good tho but my flicker strike setup infernal cry + charged staff + 5 power charges which is for the bosses , just do NO DAMAGE to even tier 15 map boss

So yea single target dmg + tankiness at an all time low seems like i'm not ready doing my own build YET anyways here is my POB :

You're missing some skill levels on your quarterstaff and corrupting your skill gems to level 21 would be a huge dps increase for you.

Just those upgrades alone would net you 4+ skill levels.

You could also get Max Energy Shield on your jewels. Increased energy shield recharge rate is less valuable over all. Especially since you're running Convalescence. I'd throw Overabundance on your Convalescence to get 2 uses as well

Mantra of destruction was a decent dps increase for me. Its a massive source of gain as extra.

Do you have poe ninia or just pob? Currently on mobile, wont be able to check.

Also, just to clarify - do you need explanation why your dmg feels low, suggestions what you can improve or replace in your build? If the latter, then I also need your budget.

Can someone explain how totems scale?

I just respeced my shaman into a totem build last night and I’m a little confused on how they scale. I heard from a YouTube video that the weapon is not very important because of weird scaling, idk what that means. On poeninja I don’t see anyone taking crit which is weird for some reason. Right now I got as may gem levels as possible and bought an insanely expensive mace but I still don’t do as much damage as my wyvern character (I know damage on wyvern is broken tho) any explanations will be much appreciated thank you.

Super secret Chayula Tech

If you’re like me and Gigachad, you use Ancestral Cry because it’s hands down one of the best buffs in the game. You can socket Wither into Ancestral Cry and you will max your stacks of Wither just by walking next to something. I was looking for a fifth support to place in it and figured fix it, I’ll try Wither. Wow what a goo choice that was. Synergy is super good with Whirling Assault as you count as stepping while whirling so adds some big time extra hit to your spin as well.
