i’m sure this will be filled with lots of “Americans Don’t have access to healthcare” comments

but honestly, even if you do have insurance getting the doctor to investigate the root cause of some random pain that happens intermittently is pretty damn low

so I guess it’s fine. I’m not worried about it.

This is likely an esophageal spasm. Or esophageal distention. It all feels like chest pain. Eat slow and chew well!

The cat......will start eating your corpse pretty much immediately. So there's that.

Around 1/3 of boomers don't or won't make it until 70.

At this rate it'll be the other way around for millennials, with only 1/3 making it to 70.

I get that from time to time. The trick is to arch your back and slowly move your shoulders towards your back while pushing forward with your chest, kinda like “stretching out” your chest.

That fixes it for me.

And then an obligatory chest thump

Agreed.

This one hits home. Once in a while it could be once a month or once a year I get woken up from the worst chest pains in my life shallow breathing heart racing always thinking I'm about to die. Takes about an hour to go away in that time I'm saying my goodbyes lol. Once I get married and my wife actually sees one of my attacks she told me that ain't normal and has me make appointments to the doctor. Once I explain my symptoms and pains my doctor sets me up with all types of visits and scans and stress test. Only for the cardiologist to tell me it's not your heart, "you'll probably be fine" it's been it's been about a year since my last episode.

So it's probably fine.

I would think that someone was filming me and I forgot about it (I even have the same cat), except that my sudden sharp pain is in my brain. I suspect it has to do with the tooth infections and whatnot, because I can't afford dental. But I also can't afford the doctor, so who knows. Every so often, it feels like an ice pick through the top side of my head.
