Let's Build an utopian Social media Platform would Look like together ? I start with my opinions.

Background - I am 20 Years old final grad in CS and from last 9 months I am working on a social media platform .I am building it because I think this is the most perfect time to build a social media platform and whole humanity is asking for it and we are launching it in first week of April. In short, a social media platform for niche communities. I will take points and tell you why then you people question it recommend it and suggest. Let's start.

A utopian social media would look like :

a) A platform where there is option to customize what you see and what you don't you start blank but you never see any content from the strangers or people you don't know or follow (yes you can search if needed.) Its algorithm free.

b) A platform that never tracks you but then how it survives instead it may use ads like banner placed on the section you visit and ads are same for everyone. The blog related to food has the food ad no matter who visit its same and its more effective as its contextual so even an anonymous user visits it they all see same ad no personalization or data is used.

c)A platform which is divided into small private communities so people join communities as per their interest right there they build their own social media experience there is no public posts, no influencer things no trending things, views count are not measured , use reaction system like over 15 human reactions and no likes matters.

d) A platform whose moderation is handled not by the platform but admins, members of the niche communities itself you control what content to be posted and what not platform (except dangerous materials to safeguard communities).

e)A platform where anyone can create their own community around any interest any topic they got they join the interests of other people there and people collaborate with each other.

f) Every community is a different social media experience in its, Some support AI generated content and some don't. Some are private, some are hidden some are small and some are big . Millions of communities around art, news, culture, philosophy, literature , tech , AI thrives and millions of people join them and interact in those communities

-----A platform where nothing is viral, people work together share resources, submit papers, help ,create products and services and value together . This would be the true Utopia and social internet for all .

How about being able to see who views your profile, and maybe having that feature under a premium feature? I currently have an ongoing case of stalking. I found out that there was a person who was placing disinformation about me on a major platform. I became aware and informed that legal action was taken. And the person committed suicide not long after.

I thought it would dissipate and go away, but I was naive to think that. I'm certain the person's relatives have taken the helm and resumed the activity. It places me at severe risk because they have gang ties. And the extent of their connections wouldn't surprise me if they got other organizations involved.

And yes, there is a report made, but if there was a feature of being able to see who views your profile on any platform. It'd would streamline things for those dealing with stalking.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month. Everything dying at 300 views for so long before I finally caught the problem

I've been absolutely obsessed with short form content for the last two years. Like people have staged actual interventions about my health level of obsessed. I'm talking 11-14 hour days breaking down what separates successful videos from failures, experimenting with different hook variations, rewriting scripts until my brain hurts, testing every editing approach I could possibly get my hands on. Why this level of obsession? Because I'm absolutely certain short form video is the backbone of everything right now. Growing followers, selling anything, generating opportunities, creating brands from nothing. Every part of it depends on whether you can hold someone's attention for 30 seconds. But here's what nearly made me quit entirely: despite the constant daily grind, nothing was hitting. I'd pour 7-8 hours into crafting one video only to watch it crash at 300 views. Tried every tactic from every person claiming to have figured it out. Bought their courses. Applied their "proven" methods. Still going nowhere.
