These kind of videos should always be watched with a slight bit of skepticism. US schools do miss a lot, but kids also only half pay attention in school.

My son’s history teacher told him we acquired Hawaii bc the local Hawaiian wanted a larger, more stable trading network. If you don’t know that history, we kidnapped their Queen until they signed over their country basically.

Idk what fucking education system people had but I learned majority of these in middle/highschool? I honestly thought the whole "northern aggression" thing was a joke people told to make fun of southern states, as thats were i grew up. Do most southern states teach that?
