We were warned of AI bot swarms by The Guardian back in Jan 2026

AI is being used to track/surveil us.

AI has the potential to cause a massive natural resource (especially water) crisis.

Unregulated AI is seriously problematicbecause there are major impacts to privacy, major employment-losses (current and future), and the generation of porn out of any innocent person’s photo, just to name a few.

Do any of us need more reason to be against AI?

AI is not going to pop or go away. All of the frivolous bullshit surrounding the conversation is just noise to distract us from the real end goal. AI technology is being crowbared into everything to speed up training and improvements because tech companies are selling AI programs to governments for surveillance and threat identification purposes.

This tech is actively being used for the development of a more advanced surveillance state, and that end goal (and the intelligence/military contracts it brings) will ensure that the bubble will not be allowed to burst.

Literally all of the comments here are saying AI is helpful for their life and every time someone asks why, they talk around the question or respond with esoteric jargon. Wtf is this comment section

A-fking-men! The AI that has been added to most of my usual apps slows shit down and its main functions seem to be more data harvesting and discouraging the customer from actually getting help. 😭

Forced into Chatbot purgatory when you need help or a refund, been there so many times. They took away local customer service and outsourced it to “cheaper” poor countries. Now it’s the fkn Chatbot loop. 🫨

Don’t even get me started on Microsoft and their bs! I’m ready for most AI over-application to die. People don’t realize they are essentially beta testing these products for companies trying to cash in on the AI boom.🤮.

I've started getting ads in my email about how I can use ChatGPT to customize my selfies or whatever, and you know they cannot be doing well if they're resorting to that sort of thing.
