One person can ruin a shift..I would have tipped this lady

Damn… purposely irritating the whole shift and then making fries one by one. Clearly the staff are dealing with a lot. No need to be sorry about the hot mic.

You know the clown police are doing overtime to find that location right now.

Managed a McDs for a few months between colleges. I had a headset on working the front counter. I hear a car drive up, I glance and the 17 yr old drive thru girl is gone.

I say on the mic "Betty you have a customer"

Silence

I said a couple seconds later "Betty where you at?"

And she loudly replies "I'm changing my tampon if you must know" (hitting the external mic Button)

And then we hear "ewww did not need to know that" from the customer.

Betty did not go back on drive thru as she was mortified. The car thought it was funny as lo g as Betty wasn't touching their food.

Shit I'd go to this McDonalds every day if she'd share shit like this every time.

Give this lady a raise or a promotion she's a real boss.

The reality of working fast food, specifically with incompetent coworkers.

It's just put on the mic because she forgot to shut it off before she was ready to deal with the customer, and they started recording instead of saying something/alerting her.

No blame on anybody, just making an observation. But, she is obviously coming from a place where she is exhausted and tired of letting shit slide just to keep her job.

I just hope she wasn't identified and fired.
