What changed your social media results more....Is itbetter content or better positioning?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.
Some accounts improve because their content gets better. Others improve because they finally understand who they’re speaking to and how they want to be perceived.......Personally, I’m starting to think positioning matters more than most people admit. You can post “good content” and still get ignored if your message is too broad or forgettable.

Curious where people here stand on this.

I don’t think these are separate things. Part of good content is knowing who your audience is, and speaking directly to them. Learning how to make better content made my account explode, and it was small tweaks.

tbh you're right and i think most growth advice misses this. i've seen accounts with average content blow up because they positioned themselves clearly, and tech-perfect stuff flop because the person was too broad.

the problem is positioning feels less actionable than tactics so people skip it. they see someone using trending audio and hashtags and copy that. they don't realize that person already knew exactly who they were and what made them different. the tactics just amplified what was already there.

most growth guides give you the playbook but leave out positioning because it's not a step-by-step thing, right? it's either im a fitness creator or i show gym mistakes you see daily and one of those gets views and one doesn't.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
