Can someone help me understand how to break this pattern?

I started consistently posting on reels about 3 weeks ago, I get a lot of reach. I currently have 17k profile views and every time I post it keeps growing, but only 2 followers from it. I have 1,512 followers currently and it’s always fluctuating.

I hear that making savable content is popular and helps with retention a lot. But does anyone have any other tips?

The only video that got over 4,000 views was the one where my leg hair was showing haha. (I’m a girl with pcos) but I don’t want to have to keep exploiting my leg hair if that isn’t the content I want to make or be known for lol. How do I get around this?

17k profile views with only 2 follows usually means people are curious but your profile doesn't give them a reason to stick around. check if your bio clearly says what someone gets by following you. also try posting at a consistent cadence so when someone lands on your profile they see a pattern they can expect more of, not just one viral moment.

this happens way more than people realize and it's almost always one of two things.

first one, your profile isn't doing the conversion job. people land on your reel, watch it, maybe even like it, then click your profile and see... what? if your bio doesn't immediately tell them 'this is who i help and what they get by following me' they just bounce. the reel got them in the door, the profile has to actually offer them a reason to stay. screenshot your own profile from a stranger's perspective and ask yourself, 'would i hit follow on this in 2 seconds?'

second one, your reels might be entertaining but not signaling 'follow for more like this'. the saves and follows usually come from videos that promise an ongoing series or a specific area you'll keep teaching about. if every reel is a one-off, viewers enjoy it and leave. if it's clearly part of a thread (part 1, part 2, or 'tip 4 of 10') the brain goes 'oh i'll need to come back for more'.

1.5k followers and high reach is actually a strong base. you're past the cold start problem most people get stuck on. now it's just a positioning fix at the profile level. that's good news, that's a 1 hour fix not a content overhaul.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
