Good to see Timothée Chalamet doesn’t disdain every live performance out there.

This is the dumbest pile-on ever.

Why are people shitting on him for this? He never even said he hated opera or ballet just made a dumb joke about how neither are that big commercially. Even here in Europe they're not and we have amazing opera houses that are centuries old where you can go and watch plays.

And in this case he gave a well thought-out answer while also complimenting the question.

People hating on timothee chalamet for his based take on a dying medium makes no sense. The guys mom was a Broadway dancer, so he probably has more insight into what he's talking about than all the people getting butthurt about it lol

I love pro wrestling and think it is a great artistic medium for telling simple moral stories that appeal to the common man. It is also a great medium for character progression. Max Landis is a POS but his video about pro wrestling and the development of Triple H's character as a narrative told over decades is a great way to show the unique storytelling opprotunities wrestling has that most film and TV just dont have the ability to tell.
