Yeah, been there. What wrecked me wasn't the posting itself, it was the constant context switching. Checking Instagram, then TikTok, then LinkedIn, then back to analytics, all while trying to come up with new ideas. Your brain never gets a chance to breathe.
What finally helped was committing to one big batch day a week. I sit down for 2 to 3 hours, write captions for every platform at once, stage all the media, and schedule the whole week in one shot. Doing it all in one sitting is way less draining than dipping in and out ten times a day.
The other thing that helped was killing the analytics addiction. I check numbers once a week now, on a Friday, instead of every few hours. Nothing meaningful changes hour to hour anyway, and constant checking just stresses you out.
If you're still bouncing between Notion calendar and each app, that alone is half the problem. A proper cross platform scheduler will save you more time than anything else. I use a scheduling tool alongside Claude to automate everything in one go.
