Is my old fb account going to destroy my page growth?

Hello to all Facebook specialists out there. I just have a question. I have a personal Facebook account that I used to run ads back in 2018, but it got banned/restricted and is still restricted until now. I’m still using it, and I’m planning to create a page under it to pursue video/reel vlogging for the long term.

Will those restrictions affect my ability to reach an audience? Could it hurt my views?

I’m aware that I can’t run ads on that account anymore, but if ever I need to, my plan is to just connect or share ownership of the page with my wife’s account so I can run ads through hers. Do you think that’s okay, or would it be better to just create a new Facebook account instead?

Also, what tips can you give for new Facebook accounts so they don’t look like bots especially since my main goal is just to create a page for my video vlogging?

Short answer: your restricted ad account won’t directly kill your organic reach, but it can be a risk factor depending on how severe the restriction is.

Organic distribution (Reels/views) is mostly based on content performance (retention, watch time, shares), not your ad history. So if your content is good, it can still grow.

That said, if your account has a history of policy violations, it can affect trust signals on the backend (especially for monetization or scaling later).

Your plan to use your wife’s account for ads is actually a common workaround, as long as everything is legit and transparent (Business Manager, proper roles, same page ownership).

If you’re going long-term and want to build something clean (ads, monetization, brand deals), the safest option is still starting fresh with a new account and keeping everything compliant from day one.

If not, you can still test content on your current account first and only migrate if you hit limits.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
