That's not what he's saying. He's specifically talking about AEW wrestlers (and non-WWE wrestlers in general) choosing to wrestle for WWE for less than they were making previously.

I see no lies told. Dude has a good head on his shoulders (also he’s funny as fuck when you get him riffing).

He’s not saying that.

He’s saying that wrestlers who switch from AEW to the WWE are trading fair compensation for the hope of a wrestling “legacy.”

AEW and WWE are two wrestling companies- WWE is more popular and gets more screen time, AEW is a smaller, newer company but committed to fair compensation, employee benefits, and HEALTH INSURANCE. He has probably turned down a contract with WWE because benefits are better with AEW.

This title isn’t indicative of what he’s saying. He’s referring to professional wrestling and wrestlers that choose to go to WWE as opposed to AEW for the sake of being a bigger name in wrestling. He’s saying his legacy, as a professional wrestler, is getting compensated fairly in the company he works for, which is AEW. He’s not talking about UFC or any other combat sports, he’s talking about professional wrestlers only.

Who are you. Wrestlers are physical actors. You don’t really compete. You follow a script. Sure you’re athletes but it’s not the same by any means.

Not everyone can act. Probably far better at actual combat
