I've seen accounts with great content fail and average content grow.

I experienced this myself.

But after a lot of struggle, I stopped paying attention to creating a perfect video as long as I had something important to show.

Sometimes, instead of recording myself on my laptop, I take my phone and record while I'm doing something, and I give 3-5 sentences along with the video, and that goes better than 3-5 hours of editing.

My videos are all simple talking head style, extremely limited editing. I think it’s important to use captions and put a text title on screen to help the algorithm serve your content to the right people.

yeah this tracks.
