Holy fuck this is infuriating, it's so accurate.

This is infuriatingly perfect. We need to get our fucking shit together guys. Debates are sparring matches. A game to be won by any means necessary. At the fundamental level it begins as an exercise in bad faith. Logical fallacies, manipulation, muddying t he waters, and running the clock out.

We need to start demanding our leaders start having discussions like adults who are able to concede to a good point when it is raised, without it having to mean some kind of moral defeat or something. We need to take the entertainment factor out of all of this. This shit is supposed to be boring, not entertaining.

Stopping a debate or discussion after settling the other party is being intellectually dishonest and is perfectly acceptable.
