What's strange about alcohol. Is I didn't quit because it had me in states like this.

I quit cause the next 2 to 3 days after this felt like the damn flu and figured a few hours of happiness was not worth a few days of feeling like shit.

The older you get the longer the recuperation.

Now if you wanna combat this flu like feeling? Just drink again and it all goes away.

But then guess what happened next? My blood pressure went up and so did my cholesterol. And I was a complete mess at work and the only thing I would look forward to? Is drinking when I got home from work.

And endless suffering cycle where I was only happy a few hours a day but felt like absolute shit the rest.

And now that I been sober for the last 3 years?

I still feel like shit with no happiness at all. But hey. I got my cholesterol and blood pressure back down!

Life is a scam.....
