Creators - do you actually update your link in bio when you post new stuff?

I'm building something in this space (mylinksai) and trying to figure out if I'm solving a real problem or a fake one. Posting here because I'd rather find that out now from people who'd actually use a tool like this.

Basic question first. When you drop a new video, song, post, whatever, do you go back and update your bio? If you don't, is it because:

a) It's annoying
b) You don't really think about your bio that much
c) People clicking through already know what's new from your feed
d) Something else entirely

Here's where I'm stuck. Half the creators I've talked to said something like "yeah I forget for weeks at a time, would love this to be automatic." The other half said "honestly my bio is just a list of permanent links, the freshness thing isn't really my problem." Both groups sound right depending on what kind of creator you are, which is what's making this hard for me to decide on.

So I keep going back and forth on whether "your bio updates itself when you post" is actually useful, or whether it's a feature people like me think creators want because it sounds clever in a deck.

What's the part of your link in bio you'd burn down if you could? The specific thing you'd change about whatever tool you're on now.

I am one who considers this to be a permanent link folder. The issue with having your link in bio auto-update to your latest post is that algorithms will promote your older videos randomly. So imagine you have a video from two months back that is suddenly getting a lot of views and someone goes to your bio, but your link is auto-updating to your newest video, which has absolutely nothing to do with what the user is interested in, they will bounce off the page immediately.

Honest answer I update it maybe 20% of the time when I post something new nd ur right that it depends on the creator type. For people with evergreen content the auto-update thing sounds cool but doesn't matter much. For people doing drops, launches or time sensitive stuff it's actually useful. The thing I'd burn down is the analytics being locked behind paid tiers on most tools that's what usually pushes people off free, not the features themselves. The discovery vs loyal fan split ur wrestling with is the real product question nd most link in bio tools haven't picked a side which is why they feel generic

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
