Filters make me look too pretty 🫠

I know filters are common but sometimes I think this should be illegal? I get comments from my followers saying I look like a kpop star and I’m thinking uhh that’s just the filters 🙈 I don’t even go over the top with them, I just use the default one in capcut editing app

I’m so scared one day I’m gonna be invited to an event and they’ll be thinking I look nothing like my videos. Also worried I’ll be recognised in real life but there’s slim chance of that as I look totally average in real life lol

That’s actually more common than people admit.

The gap only becomes a problem if your whole content depends on the filter. If your value is just appearance, then yeah, expectations can get weird. But if people follow you for personality, content, or vibe, it matters way less.

A lot of creators deal with this by dialing filters down a bit or occasionally posting more natural clips so the difference isn’t huge.

People usually don’t expect you to look identical in real life anyway, they just expect you to feel like the same person.
