after a day or two bender I feel horrible and like my days was wasted. 50 days doing that is insane.

It's going to extend past fifty days. It's going to affect her whole life, her relationships, her health, both physical and mental/emotional.

Thank goodness internet, camera phones, and social media were not around yet when I was deeply into my drinking days.

I was able to quit, kinda suddenly, 15-20 years ago. I just lost my taste for it, the alcohol buzz feels like a dirty high now, I can barely choke it down. Last time I drank was Dec 11, 2021. My daughter's wake. I've not had the urge since. (I might add a shot of Bailey's to my coffee on a holiday, but, that's about the extent.)

I love my alcohol free life. And, don't think for a moment I don't know I got off easy. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
