Update: Went with Later and it seems like the most practical setup for handling scheduling and

basic analytics in one place. Hoping it actually cuts down the time I'm losing switching between

apps every day.

I spend way too much time logging into each platform just to post content, reply to comments,

find what to post next, and check basic performance. It's starting to eat up hours every single

day and I'm not even running that many accounts.

Tried basic scheduling tools before but they felt really limited and sometimes posts just didn't go

out as expected so I ended up manually double checking everything anyway which defeated the

whole point.

What tools actually save real time on the research side too, not just scheduling? Finding what to

post is honestly where I lose the most time. I use Social Hunt for tracking what's gaining traction

in my niche and finding content angles before they get saturated, that part has genuinely cut my

research time down a lot. Also use vidIQ for the YouTube side of things. There's a smaller tool

called Pallyy that's really underrated for tracking competitor account patterns on Instagram, not

many people know about it.

But still looking for something that handles scheduling and engagement in one place without

feeling clunky.

Honestly I think you already figured out the important part. scheduling alone doesn’t actually save that much time anymore. The real time drain is research, switching between apps, checking engagement manually, and second guessing whether posts even published.

One thing worth flagging: the “posts didn’t go out” issue is almost always token expiration on the platform side, not the tool itself.

Instagram especially drops auth every few weeks. Honestly, a good scheduler should be monitoring that for you and pinging you the moment a connection drops, not just silently failing the post.

Worth checking if Later does that, or you’ll keep getting burned.

The “scheduling + engagement in one place” combo is harder than it sounds. Most tools nail one and fumble the other. Later’s inbox is fine for IG, but thin elsewhere. Metricool does unified inbox across more platforms if that ends up being the priority, though it costs more.

I switched to SocialCal partly for this reason. It auto-refreshes tokens in the background and alerts you when an account actually disconnects, so the “is this gonna post?” anxiety mostly goes away.

It also has listening built in that pulls Reddit, X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Hacker News mentions into one feed, which is different from an inbox, but ended up being the bigger time-saver for me.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
