I get that cultures can have unique customs, beliefs, and ideologies; but when it comes to bodily waste of any kind, there is absolutely nothing and nobody able to convince me that considering any of it ‘sacred’ can prop it up above the status of cave-dwelling barbarism.

Is it just a case of a cultural spectrum of poverty-related ignorance on one side, and affluent, educated society on the other? If that’s the case, that is one wide-ass rainbow over there.
