I’m a real fan of that album playing. Ben Howard “I forget where we were”. His first album was light hearted and heavy acoustic and people said he would be the next Ed Sheeran but how people reacted to him after becoming beloved made his second album much darker and weirder since he didn’t like fame and how isolating it was. 

Back when I still listened to sad music all the time (pre therapy break through) this album was the soundtrack to my moods.

Under rated album imho. He had a stroke and barely remembers his life before it and his music is uhhh very different now but I discovered this album the night Trump was being inaugurated and it matched my mood for sure lol with the first track “has the world gone mad or is it me? All these small things they gather round they gather round me… Is it all so very bad? I can’t see…”

Every time a season of Survivor starts, there’s a tribe who isn’t able to “win” their flint. There’s usually one or two people who wear eyeglasses, though, and I don’t understand why it’s so rare to see cast-mates using them to start their own fires. I figured once one person on the show did it, it would just become a regular thing - so many of the new seasons are populated with “superfans” - but now I wonder if their producers specifically forbid them from using that method, in order to prevent them from having a resource they haven’t “earned”
