You’re probably not shadowbanned. This happens to a lot of fresh accounts.
A few possible reasons:
- Instagram is prioritizing Reels much harder for new account discovery
- Carousels without existing audience engagement can die instantly
- Your hooks/first slide may not be strong enough to trigger opens
- Productivity niche is VERY saturated, so generic carousel formats get ignored fast
Also “0 impressions” usually means Instagram didn’t distribute the post beyond maybe a tiny internal test batch.
One thing I notice with new productivity pages:
they all look extremely similar.
Minimal aesthetic.
Same fonts.
Same “discipline/grindset” advice.
So the algorithm has no clue why THIS page should be pushed over thousands of others.
I’d test:
- stronger first-slide curiosity
- more opinionated/specific takes
- less generic advice
- carousels that create emotion/tension instead of just information
Example:
instead of:
“5 productivity habits”
more:
“Most productivity advice secretly destroys your attention span”
Also your reels getting views is actually a good sign.
It means the account itself is probably fine.
Instagram just currently trusts Reels more for cold distribution than static content/carousels on brand new pages.
