Teacher, 32 years experience, no way in hell I take a kids phone. I am a big guy, wrestling and football coach and it is not worth it. Call administration and wash your hands. That said press charges and if he attacked me I would fight back.

Clearly dude just thinks he should be able to do whatever he wants and shouldn't face consequences for anything. Didn't even stop to think that he surely ain't gonna have his phone while in jail.

Edit: Found out this happened back in 2023. Student was 15 and was expelled and charged with felony assault.

A near adult with toddler brain. Can't get his way so violence is the answer. A real threat to everyone around.
