More of a Zoomer/ Gen Alpha thing, imo. I'm a Millenial, and I don't think my cohort uses it much. None of my friend group, at least, but my Gen Alpha nephew uses it all the time.

I believe they're emulating streamers they've watched, though it's definitely gotten more mainstream.
