Talking about a problem when you are the problem.

I was with him until the 3rd one. Shoutout to the ppl that stream the full concert for the fans who couldn’t make it for whatever reason (Ticketmaster’s predatory fees, prices too high, tickets sold out, sick/injured, other tragedy, work, non-tour location). “Nobody cares” no bro, YOU don’t care.

But also as a music addict, yea let me see those album posts actually. I need to find my people, you know what I mean.

I unironically was looking up concert performances of Lindsey stirling because I went to a concert where she was fucking hanging upside down spinning around while playing the violin. The footage isn’t on YouTube there’s one of her doing arial silks but it was a completely different performance

To the people that film the concert and post on social media, keep it up. I’m the person that watches the videos. Concerts are expensive and I can’t afford them. So I need to live vicariously through the videos.

I was born on April Fool's Day. School was hell. The people in my life are acutely aware by now that trying to pull a prank on me on my birthday is not only ineffective but also incredibly rude.

But putting myself aside, I've noticed a general lack of interest in people pulling genuine pranks in the last 15 years or so, unless it's to film it and post it on the internet for clout or whatever. April 1st has since become just a day of fake ads, fake news and fake announcements on the internet, predominantly co-opted by corporations. So I don't feel bad about reminding everyone on my social media feeds on March 31st that the next day is my birthday. A lot of people actually appreciated it and I get lots of birthday wishes as a bonus.

My husband of 8 years learned pretty quickly not to trust anything he reads online on my birthday. Unfortunately, it does mean that he won't believe some actually legitimate news. Like this year, he doubted for a moment that the Artemis II mission was real because they launched on April 1st and he hadn't heard about it before that day.
