I hooked a giant bass like this around the same age in the pond behind my grandmas house. It was so big my dad and grandpa were like “we gotta get that mounted.” I cried because I didn’t want it to die and I remember opening the cooler and apologizing to it and crying. It’s still mounted on the back porch and I still get made fun of for crying 30+ years later lol

Ayyy, where I live, the bass are invasive and they have nearly destroyed the local populations of trout, turtles, crawfish and frogs.  Fuck bass, kill em all.
