Lol reminds me of a discord server I was in. Three members started ranting about how much they hated Black people and just saying ignorant things. One even said, "I'm becoming a racist like my dad."

I stayed quiet, just reading their replies, then popped in and called them out. Two started panicking and apologizing, the other began feigning ignorance ("huh?" "What's going on?" etc.)

People love to talk big when they think their in "like-minded company." Left though, because even the leader of the game team I was in, didn't stop it, just said "there there," to their racist rants. They tried apologizing. But if you aren't stopping it, esp when you have the power, then you're also racist.

Why is it so difficult for people to just not use slurs?
