people taking screenshots of my tiktoks and posting them in my comments weirds me out

like they usually attach a compliment like so pretty or whatever but I don't understand why random people take pictures of my videos anyway like that's weird, or is that just part of creating content, now that i think about it I hate the thought of people having pictures or god forbid my videos downloaded somewhere

and mind you, I turned downloads off for my videos

and I just kinda started posting videos so im pretty new to all of this

A few practical things you can do without quitting completely:

  • use tighter framing or avoid showing anything identifiable in your room/background
  • add a small watermark or handle if reposting is a concern
  • filter or delete comments that make you uncomfortable, even if they are phrased like compliments
  • keep downloads off, but assume screenshots are still possible

Part of creating public content is losing some control over where it gets seen, but that doesn't mean you have to ignore the weird feeling. If a format makes you feel exposed, adjust the format until it feels sustainable.

It's a normal part of having a public account but understandably weird at first. Screenshots bypass download restrictions which is why it still happens. It's usually fans saving content they like rather than anything concerning.

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively.
