My great grandma lived to be 100 and my mom was still distraught when she died. Anyway sorry to be a downer lol.

My dad died at 55... that was not the face I had. It was this:
Not to turn this super serious of anything, but this realization hit me like a ton of bricks earlier this year and I literally had to bring it up in therapy.
I'm closer to 40 than 30. I've reached the age where someone dying goes from tragic to unfortunate.
Turning 30 was no big deal. But this? Woof. Sent me into an existential crisis spiral.
