To be real though, we need to be talking about these absurdly tall hood heights. An M1 Abrams tank is safer in a school zone than my dad’s truck. A little kid could be standing 10 feet in front of that thing and he’d just mow right through without noticing until it’s possibly too late.

My old pickup got amazing milage, was fun to drive, and made me money. Can't argue with that!

My wife has been indoctrinated into truck culture since birth.

Once you have one, the possibilities are endless, they are great for many activities and necessities.

I get it now. We can go throw our old lawn furniture out at the dump without calling someone. We can go camping with all of our shit without issue. Hell, we moved into our house from our separate apartments with her old 98 Tacoma single cab… why?

NGL, I became one of them but I went smaller. 2000 Toymotor Tacoma with a Bilstein TRD kit and supercharger.

Almost was a Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 owner, ended up in Wrangler. Almost was a truck owner until I found something I like more.
