What’s actually working better right now: algorithm-optimized content or human-first content?
I’m noticing a growing split in performance across platforms:
Content that’s tightly optimized for algorithms (hooks, fast pacing, keyword-driven structure) tends to get strong initial reach.
But content that feels more human, slightly unpolished, or opinionated often builds deeper engagement, more comments, saves, and back-and-forth discussion over time.
It feels like we’re constantly trading between:
- What the algorithm wants right now
- vs What real people actually remember
Curious what others are seeing in practice:
Are you intentionally building for algorithmic distribution first, or prioritizing human resonance and letting reach come secondary?
What’s been more consistent for you lately and on which platforms?
