I'm a high school teacher. Some kids really don't want to go to the cafeteria because of the bullying and horseplay that can go on down there, and I don't say no if they ask to stay in my classroom. I've had students of either gender in my room one-on-one making up a test after school or asking for extra help or whatever. It's not something a teacher should invite but it's not inherently weird.

What IS inherently weird is the fact that she's recording herself and the student with that smug look, and posting it on tiktok. That's just such a fundamentally wrong thing that was definitely discussed in her training. This must be in a state that gutted their education system because I'd be fired if I posted something like this to my personal account. Or, the likely option, it's fake. Us teachers don't need any more negativity flung at us, this doesn't help.

Fuck tiktok.

I bet her school district would not have the same attitude about this.

That is creepy. A lot of those grooming teachers start out like this, with extra one-on-one time.

I had lunch alone with my teacher in high school. I was poor, she knew it, and I had no way to get lunch. She shared hers. I wouldn’t be here without her kindness.

It CAN be innocent and a kind thing, some students need a teacher like this. BUT bragging about it knowing what it’s implying is extremely weird and disgusting. And if she’s liking comments about Haley she genuinely needs to be fired.
Making this video alone is wrong, can that kid even consent to the video?

The passive aggressive videos about it make it even weirder that there’s just not some other kids there.
