Could I get some context with your post OP?

He meant it as he never wants to be in this situation again. Nothing to see here.

NYC was childish. Throwing stuff at the spurs when they arrive.... Don't you know the magic can't happen with out them?

Anyone who has an actual serious issue with this is an absolute goober, god forbid a 22 year old be upset when he falls short of something he clearly wants *desperately*.

The guy was crying tears of joy after winning the previous series that got them into the finals(championship). He has no qualms about his feelings of wanting to be one of the greats, winning multiple championships and MVPs. He cares a LOT.

He lives and breathes basketball, he’s 22, the weight of that team is on his young shoulders, he’s playing 30-40 minutes of all out professional basketball, he has to deal with the media frenzy after missing out on his dream, all while in a secondary language, he’s 7-4 sitting in a normal fold up chair… so yeah he makes one semi-crass comment.

And insufferable Redditors of course act like he’s acting out. Ridiculous.

Man is 22 in the context of everything that’s occurred on an off the court.

Act like people can’t have emotions. He’s allowed to be upset that they lost the championship. People think he should sit in front of a bunch of reporters and be super happy and glad he lost?

Lol people get so mad about the stupidest shit. This makes me laugh. Press conferences are stupid AF.
