Monopoly 2026

Monopoly (or "The Landlord's Game" as it was originally called) was quite literally created as a criticism of unfettered capitalism by Elizabeth Magie.

Funnily enough a man later took the premise and sold it to Parker Brothers without giving her credit, which is a very capitalist thing to do.

Made me sad.

Someone needs to make a relevant expansion set like this. Would be hilarious

This is awesome I remeber the dude who flipped the board from at least a year or two ago living in his van trying to make it as a stand up comedian/ content creator in nyc. I have been wondering if he was still out there doing his thing but never knew cause I deleted tiktok. Glad to see he’s making funny (and sad) shit like this still.
