I'd treat structure as scaffolding, not as the thing that does the growing by itself. My rough ratings would be:
- Hook: 9/10. If people do not stop, nothing else gets a chance.
- Value: 10/10. This is what makes someone remember you instead of just watching once.
- Thumbnail: 7 to 9/10 depending on platform and format. Huge on YouTube, still useful on Reels/TikTok if it makes the topic obvious.
- Pattern interruption: 5 or 6/10. Helpful when it supports the point, annoying when every post feels like a jump cut circus.
- CTA: 4 to 6/10. A simple next step is fine, but a hard CTA before trust exists usually hurts more than it helps.
For organic growth, I would also think in series, not one-off posts. Pick 2 or 3 repeatable formats your audience can recognize, post them consistently for a few weeks, then judge by saves, comments, profile visits, and follows per view, not just raw views.
Outside of posting, the most underrated piece is being visible where your target audience already talks: thoughtful comments, collaborations with adjacent accounts, answering common questions, and turning those questions into future posts.
