I work in an elderly daycare in my late twenties, and when I look at their lives, I realize that for most of us, there isn’t much to have from the start.

I really, really dislike the motivation behind this video, and frankly also the title of this post. You and he have no idea what they're thinking. For all he knows, they may actually like the rap version. My mother's younger than the people in this video, but she's in her 70s and likes the Beastie Boys.

I remember watching a documentary about a dance being held for elderly queer people in my city called the Coming Back Out Ball. There was a lady in her 80s who felt patronised because the younger dude putting on the event assumed they would want like big band or swing music- she liked techno. But he never bothered asking.

Regardless of the circumstances or audience, that’s a fire rendition!
