They want public schools defunded in favor of private, Christian schools for all. They're trying to force their indoctrination on us all while using that as their justification by saying kids are using littler boxes and shit. They're allowed to lie, cheat, and steal because their base is ok with it. We need to fight these crazies in massive numbers.

They are doing it on purpose 😑 I bet those schools have a lot of one particular race of student too. This is how they dumb us down!!

It’s not just racial, although that can be a factor. They are planning for AI to replace a lot of the office work jobs so they need more manual laborers who won’t question things too much. Just drones to do the physical work.

An uneducated populace is much easier to control than an informed one.

I read to my stepdaughter every night before bed. My dad did for me so I do it for her. And I don’t read nonsense. She’s 8, but we’re reading The Alchemist now and she loves it. Matters not that the vocab is above her reading level - she asks and that becomes teachable moments for her. Not only that, we have great bonding time. 🥰

The fundamental requirement for a healthy and functioning democracy is a well educated and informed population....wonder why they are cutting the funding for the department of education. Hmm

So the way this teacher was trying to teach properly it actually was teaching critical thinking /reasoning which sounds like the systems are trying to stop.

This is why I consistently push back on the narrarive that parents are solely to blame for falling literacy and education scores.

Obviously parents play a big role in educational success, but so do schools and the curriculum being used. The widespread abandonment of phonics in public school is the major cause of falling literacy rates. Also, teaching solely towards standardized tests and implementing the latest technological fad in education, isn't helping either. We need to let teachers go back to basics in early elementary, and then worry about incorporating technology later.

If we want improvement, we have to look at all the causes and relevant information.
