Man finds out his friend of 25 years has been stealing from him

Can’t trust anyone with money basically

There were few kids that grew up with less money than us. House was big and clean so every weekend after football Friday or Friday night before we all had Track Saturday we stayed at my house 10+. A lot of parents sent pizza money chips sodas to help out.

One day one of the older kids who could drive lingered back to talk to my older brother who watched all of us(parents both moved out when I was 10) the legit most wealthy kid over was stuffing cans of mountain dew into his backpack from our fridge after everyone was sleeping. Dude said he woke up to pee and had to hold it to avoid the awkward situation.

Its always the people who don't need that take extra.

my old former "best friend" of nearly 15 years.... i rented out a two-story house, held it down on my own, so he could move in from another state, and be comfortable while he gets a new job going and shit.... this fuckin jackass shows up, couple hundred bucks in his pocket, and goes to the damn pawnshop, comes back with a sword, a cheap lil plastic crossbow, and an out-of-key guitar. flat broke. so i cover for him.... and cover for him.... months go by, this idiot blows every job opportunity i set him up with. i keep paying the rent. he owes me more. instead of actually paying me, he decides to dip out, leave me hanging with a fat utilities bill, double rent, and a massive mess upstairs, trash and shit everywhere. When i ask him about getting me that money, he gets all pissy and defensive. i say "you know, i just knew you were gonna pull some shit like this. i was never getting that money back from you" and he tells me to fuck off and die. Cut ties right then, blocked. he can pull his own weight from now on. last i saw him, he was pretending to be a hippie so this other hippie couple would let him live in their bus and not get a job. What a pathetic, leeching existence. Some people, man
