Oh. My. God. This may sound like a conspiracy theory, but I think I figured this out. M&Ms is the one that grew the algae in the reflecting pool in Washington DC. As an experiment for this blue dye.

So just don't have those 2 colors? Pretty simple and cheaper. Guarantee people will still buy them, may bitch for a while, but oh well.

They should think about using actual chocolate inside and stop worrying about the color.

Im happy for more natural dyes, and more better natural products; but thats maybe the only good thing happening with our current government!!
