I just graduated college, and the crazy thing to me is that the job market is like bad bad. I am currently working as a temp for a government agency, they have been in a hiring freeze for the past year and a half because the government won't fund them as much anymore. This is an agency which is trying to create jobs and they work directly for the public making their lives better, but they can't do that because the government refuses to pass on our tex dollars.
There is no reason to celebrate this shitshow

The time between “there’s another mass shooting… it’s mainly kids” and “you wanna do shots?” is so accurately depressing.
I remember the day of the Sandy Hook shootings. My friends and I (all early 20s) were getting together that night at someone’s house for our weekly cookout, and everyone came, but all we did was sit silently in front of the tv and drink beer. Most of us cried. I’ll never forget how quiet we all were that night.
Now we all move on in the blink of an eye. It’s so fucked up.
Raising the white flag
The sad part is that there actually was a mass shooting yesterday in Coney Island where the victims were mostly kids. As far as I’ve seen one adult’s in critical condition and the rest are stable. 215 mass shootings so far in this year alone.
Absolutely felt this. July 1st the federal government cut my health insurance.
