I feel like the women in the video are just kinda like chubby, but within the spectrum of "eh, whatever, it's fine". However, the woman in the ad is like ACTUALLY at a very unhealthy weight and should not be celebrated...

Anyone thinking that being that obese can ever be healthy is completely moronic.

My BMI is too high, but I assume somewhat lower than hers. I felt like crap, physically and mentally, and I'm currently in a calorie deficit journey (no ozempic. Side effects scares me) and is already feeling a lot better after losing "only" 5 kgs/11 lbs.

Being this far overweight sucks ass, and no amount of copium should be enough to tell you otherwise. I don't endorse his end of the scale, though. A healthy middle way, is the way

The person in the advert (Jordan) uses they/them pronouns and has lymphedema, this is a condition that causes fluid build up.  They were misdiagnosed for years due to anti-fatness from their doctors which meant their condition got worse and worse. Anyone at any size deserves basic respect and kindness and to be treated like a human being.

At this point i think it's just rage bait because no one with half a brain looks at that ad and thinks.

Yes that is a totally normal body and weight.

Fat glorification is a problem in this country. Period. Fix yourselves, people.

Edit: for context, I'm a morbidly obese man currently working on losing weight. I'm 6'6" 460 (last time I was weighed.) I'm built like Shrek. 😭
