Edit: I am not saying that you can't critise fur products when wearing something other than fur. I have just seen so much greenwashing in the clothing industry that I wanted to point out the origins of synthetic fur. A lot of people who are passionate and actively protest are often interested in animal welfare on a broader level.// When it comes to the proces of treating animal skin, there are various options including traditional ones. I have never bothered comparing the chemical usage in fur vs synthetic fur as I have never been interested in buying fur.

Yeah, the fur industry is awful. There’s an organization called Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade that is single-handedly ending the fur industry. Being against fur is great, but speaking up is what changes things, get involved in your local community!
