Isn’t the beach public property or are there other rules throughout US states for beach/ sand/ owning a coast?
Don't react to these type of people. They want a response. I would pretend he's not even there. Let him stand there by himself looking goofy.
entitled racist boomer
All the white Republicans making $45k a year in this sub are big mad about this “trespassing.”
Show me the part in your land deed that includes the public beach
Ill wait here for the cops
This is why the Chicago lakefront is such a gem. It’s all public. I wish more places would follow suit.
Wisconsin law is any body of water is public with an easement of 7 or 12ft from waterline.
They were posted up on his front yard. It’s trespassing. They should find a public beach and enjoy the beach there.
Walking and Navigation: You can walk, wade, and traverse the beach on foot below the OHWM. However, the state Supreme Court has ruled that this public trust access is limited to navigation-related activities; the public does not have the right to set up chairs, fish, or recreate on private dry sand above the OHWM.
Sorry but as a home owner on Lake Huron…..beaches are private property. Go to SOS (save our shore line) it will break down all the rules and laws. You can walk the beaches up to the high water mark on private beaches but you cannot camp out, set up volleyball games, loiter, or drive motorized vehicles on someone’s beach. Imagine if we set up a picnic in your back yard? We pay taxes on the beach people are camping out on. Want a beach, got to a state park or buy a home on the water. When someone comes out and kindly asks you to vacate their property, be respectful and move on.
