Recording a video of yourself getting fired and posting it for the whole world to see 😅

Assuming that this video is real and not a joke…I admire that this woman was calm and respectful while she was being fired, but everything else is seriously questionable to me. Recording a video like this and broadcasting it to the whole world opens up such a can of worms. Even if the company was terrible, a few of the most fundamental rules of job hunting are to have a good online presence and not criticize your employer. By posting publicly about such a private situation and actively talking about how she disliked the company in the comments, I would be wary about hiring her if I was an employer, and I’m sure a lot of people would agree. Even some of the remarks she made while on the call (ex. in my 26 years of life I haven’t experienced something like this, making it personal by explaining how working from home was hard for her) are immature and unprofessional in my view. I don’t understand why some people think that everything that happens to them should be shared on the internet.

Posting this online kinda tells me all I need to know about her priorities.

At first i was like, well, at least she's honest with herself and the HR staff.

"I don't think a work from home position was for me"

It's very common with lots of employees; they can't work without being actively supervised by middle managers to keep them on track. Without a babysitter, they just play video games and nap. So it's just not a good fit and she needs to go back to the office.

Then at 2:15, she puts the mask down and shows that she's actually bat-shit crazy and says "im free! goodbye corporate america"... but like, what job are you going to have that's better than a work-from-home fully remote office job?

I was on her side at the start. Then it becomes obvious she's got problems.

I get the feeling that this isn't going to age well for her.

Doesn’t she know she can just quit? Like, nobody shackled you to that desk. And it makes me seriously question if she intentionally tanked her performance to trigger being fired.
