empathy… There is some science to back that Republicans have less empathy. brains actually do change based on your experience and Republican brains are different.

there is science that backs up that Republicans are more fearful and more willing to accept authority (without questioning said authority) and like I said less empathy on average.

this is not just an American issue it is all over the world. it’s essentially a modern tribalism given their perception of security (fear) and against the “others“ (can’t empathize)

I don’t get the gun thing, she didn’t say that she was anti-regulation, just that the guns weren’t the problem.

And as a lefty I mean, I agree. All this shit about regulating the actual tech (e.g. mag size) or access shit like waiting periods does nothing. We need to regulate possession like they do in euro countries (different licenses, training requirements, etc).
