This unlocked a memory for me. I completely forgot this movie existed. My mom introduced this movie to me in middle school and I thought the premise was fine, but the relationship part was weird af. A very uncomfortable watch at some parts. The 90s were a weird time fs.

I never saw the movie but remember the TV commercials / trailers. Didn’t the bad guy hit the kid’s bike then write a check but left the amount blank and tell the kid to give it to his dad to fill out the amount to pay for the damage?

Anyway, many movies in the 90s glorified horny tween boys trying to score with older women, see nude pictures, get some undies, etc. It was a common trope that’s completely off putting nowadays but “boys will be boys” mentality back then.

I used to love this movie. well…now that’s done I guess. Fack.
