Not to mention all of the food they throw out on a daily basis that could be donated.

McDonald's does this, Walmart does this. Billion dollar companies asking me to feed kids. Why not use the money you don't pay in taxes to do it yourself?

Supermarkets are built on selling products for the lowest price. They didn’t become the biggest stores by charging more. They can’t sell products for less than they buy them for. Local stores cost *more* than super markets. What are you even advocating for?

I got asked at Goodwill. I was buying cheap tee shirts for work.

"Would you like to donate to the Goodwill foundation?"

"I wouldn't be shopping here if i had spare money to give it to a billion $ Corporation."

McDonald’s in the US does this too. I’ve always thought “you’re the corporation, why can’t you do it yourself?”
